Things continue to get busier and more exciting as the year goes on! Progress made on upcoming projects, new shows added, and so much music being made!! Keep an eye on my events calendar as performances (both in-person and virtual) continue to be added: https://www.emilyefinke.com/events.

Coming up this Sunday, 02/22, I will be at the 301 in Sebring from 2pm to 5pm playing and singing some of my favorite songs across genres. It will be an intimate afternoon of music with just me and my guitars. I hope to see you there!

February's livestream virtual concert was a Valentine's Day special featuring classic and beloved love songs from the last 100+ years. In case you missed it, the full concert is available to watch on my YouTube channel:

My performance calendar is starting to fill up, but I am still taking booking requests! If you would like me to come to a venue (church, theatre, festival, historical society, etc.) near you, let me know or send the venue the below information:

On a bit of a different (but very fun) note, my county fair just ended, and I am so excited to share the results of my entries in the Community Arts and Crafts exhibit:

🟣 Best of Show in "Handcrafts & General Crafts" for my blue flowered hat

🔵 1st Place in "Handcrafts & General Crafts: Original Design" for my blue flowered hat

🔴 2nd Place in "Fabric, Thread, & Sewing: Cross Stitch, Needlepoint, and Hand Embroidery" for my hand embroidered pillow, "The Smiles You Gather"

🟡 3rd Place in "Fabric, Thread, & Sewing: Knitting and Crocheting" for my green and blue knit capelet

I am so honored by these awards for my creations. I love learning and improving in my handiwork skills. Not only are these skills I use everyday in my life, but they are skills useful in my work as a creative entrepreneur. I love sharing these skills and inspiring others to pursue traditional handiwork to keep these skills alive. Thank you Highlands County Fair Assoc for the opportunity to participate in the exhibit and for this wonderful recognition.

Remember this hat that I made and wore to the 2025 ISSA Music Awards when I won my award for "Sound Engineer of the Year"???

That's right! This is the same hat and now it has won its own awards!

Finally, here is a picture from Sister Violins' recent gig at the Albatross of Sebring on Valentine's Day:

We had a wonderful time providing music for a special Valentine's Day event. It was a lovely evening, and we were honored to be a part of it. Thank you Albatross of Sebring for having us, and thank you to all the guests for your kindness and generosity.

That's all for now, but I will be back soon with very exciting announcements!! So stay tuned, and God bless you all ❤️
