July 26th Trip Day 4

Unfortunately, I do not have any pictures from this day of the trip, but that does not mean it was not a fantastic day! Let me tell you all about it: It was another early morning including a trip to a pastry shop with my mom. I love going for walks in the early morning! It's such a great way to start the day. My sister wasn't feeling too well and decided to stay in the apartment to rest. After breakfast, my mom and I thought we would spend the day exploring Katoomba. First stop, the tourist center to obtain a bus schedule. (See my last post for context.) We then spent some time exploring the eatery options. Spotting something good, we stopped for lunch. The rest of the day went by as we leisurely window shopped, occasionally going in to look at all the neat items in the little shops. Yes, we did some buying, as well. Piquing my interest were the hat shop, book store, and antique and vintage shops. Among my treasured finds of the day were two pairs of vintage gloves and a vintage, Australian made hat from what I'm guessing is the 1900's-1920's. We each also got a scarf because, well, we're from Florida. Oh, and the treat of the day was a stop by an organic bulk store for some yummy dairy free, soy free, sugar free, (but delicious) chocolate.
