My Dear Friend

A short poem by Emily E. Finke

I know your smile, I know your face, Your every word, recalls a trace.

We’ve met before, time and again, I know you well, My dear Friend.

I know your laugh, I know your tears. Time can’t erase, Despite the years.

We’ve met before, We’ll meet again. I’ll know you then, My dear Friend.
