You just answered a few questions I wanted to ask but was hesitant in fear of overstepping. How did you protect Emily from the indoctrination of young minds with socialistic ideas? How did you keep God in her life which is a constant battle for those of us who had public school attending children? Great job mom and God bless you!

@Emily E. Finke Your own home studio with some decent equipment. I'm only asking this because I've spent many thousands on studio time and I found that I can do it myself, edit where and when with 0 time restraints. Just a thought.

Change can be very scary but take these words of wisdom; regret stays with you your whole life. Not so much the wrong choices made but not choosing for fear of rejection, ridicule or loss. The less regrets the happier you'll be.

@Amy Finke Other than Emily, is there another reason you prefer this decade for music? Personally, I find most of it lacking in substance and message and filling the voids with profanity and sexual references. If we had more Emilys in the world it would be a much better place.

The not so recent tech advances have allowed us to record our own works with decent quality. Have you ever thought of going the route?

I have to say the 80s was an awesome decade for music. Big hair bands and the freedom of expression was intense. Boy George, The Bangles and MTV.
