Thanks for all the Thoughts and Prayers. It was an anxious but successful experience. Wrapping up the remainder of my recovery curled up with the Fur Babies and a Good Book. Even got blessed with some rain to set the mood. Should be able to get out and about tomorrow and even catch the Randy Travis Tribute concert tommorrow night. I hope all of you are doing well! Great portrayal by the actors, but the storyline was a bit stagnant and tough to follow pace wise, but good selection.

I wasn’t confusing happy endings with escapism. I was focusing on the moderation of tone positive or negative. Classic example: Rodenberry’s optimistic tone of Star Trek was set in a time when the average 18 year old male American was not likely to see his next birthday. Optimistic escapism was essential in media during that time. Let’s use your Laural film…. It didn’t have a happy ending per se’ but was happy for her. Though it was sad, it wasn’t anti-escapiam…🙃

My favorite breed is the ‘Polish Chickens’ I call them Afro-Chickens due to their hair-do. They always bring a smile to my face…😛
