Imagination

Updated: Sep 3, 2018

A spark. A dream. An escape. IMAGINATION. Something encouraged in children, but rarely found in adults. What makes us forget how to be creative? How do we lose that spark, the ability to pretend? Why do we no longer use our imaginations?

But I don’t mean for adults to go around with invisible best friends, play-acting mermaids and pirates, or escaping from reality all-together. Using our imaginations is more than escaping from reality into worlds unknown.

Sometimes imagination can be found at the very heart of our reality, in the very middle of our lives. I find mine in colors. There is something so amazing and inspiring about color that just sets my imagination on fire: the colors of a sunrise or sunset as they change the sky of blue into a gradient of ever changing pinks and oranges, the colors of a stained glass window as the light streams through and makes the colors dance on the walls and floor, and even the colors (or lack there-of) of a thunderstorm as the soft, white clouds turn ominous shades of grey and black and streaks of blue and white lightning flash and light up the sky.

Imagination is simply the way we view the world around us; the ability to see the beauty and wonder in uncommon places; the strength to love and see the good in those around us. #livemoremagic #imagination #imaginationiseverything #wonder #inspire #dream #dontlosethatspark #magic #creative #inspiration #influencer #publicspeaker #motivation #motivationalspeaker #performer #actress #singer #brandambassador #writer #amtcgrad #makinggoodbolder #emilyefinke #me #following #follow #lead #reality #love #seethegood #seethebeauty #imaginative
